Receptionist
Pay: $11 an hour
Desired Start Date: As soon as possible
A receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, managing the front desk. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting guests, handling inquires, managing appointments, and preforming administrative tasks like data entry and maintaining records. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- The employee must be able to see up close and at a distance, as well as use peripheral vision and depth perception, and be able to look at, read, and use a computer, electronic devices, and phones for long periods of time
- High school diploma or an equivalent degree or 1 -2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service, or specialty store environment
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors in a professional manner
- Answering and directing phone calls to appropriate individuals
- Providing information and assistance to clients and guests
- Managing and scheduling appointments or meetings
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintaining a tidy and organized front desk area
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing
- Coordinating with other staff members for seamless operations
- Responding to inquiries and providing accurate information
- Managing office supplies and ensuring inventory is maintained
- Handling basic customer service issues or directing them to the appropriate person
- Operating office equipment, such as photocopiers and printers
- Maintain store-standards to support a flawless shopping experience
- Maintain a high standard of dress to meet the Dress Code policy
- Respond promptly to all customer questions providing product and service information.
Physical Demands :
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time; reach for tools and objects with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk to and hear customers . The employee must occasionally lift to 25 pounds. The employee must be able to see up close and at a distance, as well as use peripheral vision and depth perception, and be able to look at, read, and use a computer, electronic devices, and phones for long periods of time.
