RECEPTIONIST
A receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, managing the front desk. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting guests, handling inquires, managing appointments, and preforming administrative tasks like data entry and maintaining records. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Position: Receptionist
Pay: $11 an hour
Desired start date: As soon as possible
Hours: (Full time) Tuesday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm, Saturday 8:50am-6:00pm
Job Duties:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors in a welcoming, professional, and friendly manner
- Answering and directing phone calls, text messages to appropriate individuals
- Providing information and assistance to clients and guests in a timely and professional
- Managing and scheduling appointments or meetings through our computer system
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries with various carriers
- Maintaining a tidy and organized front desk area at all times
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing through our system
- Coordinating with other staff members for seamless operations
- Responding to inquiries and providing accurate information
- Managing office supplies and ensuring inventory is maintained
- Handling basic customer service issues or directing them to the appropriate person
- Operating office equipment, such as photocopiers and printers
- Maintain store-standards to support a flawless shopping experience
- Maintain a high standard of dress to meet the Dress Code policy at all times
- Respond promptly to all customer questions providing product and service information
Qualifications
- Must be able to see up close and at a distance, as well as use peripheral vision and depth perception, and be able to look at, read, and use a computer, electronic devices, and phones for long periods of time
- High school diploma or an equivalent degree. 1 -2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
Communication:
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, able to articulate customer and product needs
- Able to work effectively with all functions across the company, with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with staff at all levels of the organization
Leadership:
- Able to demonstrate problem resolution skills
- Demonstrates ability to work flex style and work with a variety of groups including management, creative, executives and hourly work force.
- Demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity
Required Skills:
- Be polite, friendly, helpful to both customer and associates.
- Able to work effectively with all departments, associates, management, visitors and customers from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Highly organized
- Good memorization skills
- Excellent professional interpersonal skills both in person and by phone
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Physical Demand:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time; reach for tools and objects with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk to and hear customers . The employee must occasionally lift to 25 pounds. The employee must be able to see up close and at a distance, as well as use peripheral vision and depth perception, and be able to look at, read, and use a computer, electronic devices, and phones for long periods of time.
